Things to keep in mind while renting a car on Koh Samui
The possibility of taking a vehicle to the mainland by ferry varies depending on the specific vehicle. Please note that some of our rental vehicles are provided by partners, and some partners have restrictions against taking vehicles off the islands.
For vehicles eligible to be taken to the mainland, an additional deposit is usually required. Additionally, depending on the distance of your trip, you may be asked to pay a higher rental fee to account for the increased mileage compared to local use.
Cash payments in Thai Baht or transfers to Thai bank account. At the time we do not accept credit/debit card payments.
Indeed, we provide delivery and pick-up services. For short-term rentals, the delivery/pick-up fee is agreed upon before the rental commences, generally falling within the range of 100 to 500 baht. This amount varies based on factors such as distance and the type of vehicle selected.
In contrast, long-term rentals often come with the advantage of either free or reduced delivery fees.
- We refund the security deposit in its entirety if none of the contract clauses are breached. Common deductions from the deposit may include, but are not limited to, charges for cleaning, refueling the tank, and addressing any new damages.
